You can find this lovely swimming pool in our garden. Here you can swim a few sportive lengths, or you can just relax and doze off on an inflatable bed. It is a lovely spot where you catch up and cool down upon returning from horse riding, hiking, cycling etc. Around the swimming pool there are various spots with comfortable chairs where you can sit or lie down, and read, sunbathe or whatever you want to do.

In case you would like to have an ice-cold drink or a little snack, please do not hesitate to ask us; it will be a pleasure for us to serve you whatever you ask!

We would like to draw your attention to the following:
According to new French legislation (January 2006), every pool owner is obliged to take certain safety measures to minimize the chance of drowning, especially for small children. Not taking these measures can lead to heavy penalties!
We have a "safety blanket" which covers the swimming pool. We also have an alarm system in the water, which will go off in the case of an unexpected splash in the water. We have not chosen a fence, although a fence would offer the most safety. The reason for this is that we do not like the look of this "cage" in our lovely garden. By making this choice, we meet the legal requirements, but we are of the opinion that we do not protect very young children from drowning! If a drowning accident should occur, then, according to French law, we can be held personally responsible. This is a risk we can not and will not accept! We are sad to have to conclude therefore that our Chambres d'Hotes is no longer suitable for children under the age of 12.
